Friend,

I hope that this missive finds you in the most blessed of situations. In a recent trade excursion with Isk of the Maritime Union, we were accosted and overtaken by pirates. It has come to my attention that for some time, Tai Kwan Leap has been missing and I have been instructed that if there were any questions regarding his whereabouts or the endless search for him; I could inquire with you.

Though I do not doubt your efforts in finding Tai, I hoped that I could possibly be of some assistance. Tai was a very close friend to me and since my return, I've heard of his disappearance. The persistence of these brigands does command alacrity in regards to protecting the groups associated with the Maritime Union. Because I have never met you, and I am well aware of Tai's abilities as a strategist; I do hope that my words do not seem condescending because that is not their intent. Obviously, you are more than capable of the duties bestowed upon you. Simply put, I do worry of my friend.

I know that you are busy and I commend your ideals on policing against injustices all about. Though, should I be able to offer any assistance in finding Tai as well as helping with diplomacy or organization in regards to the Maritime Union, I am readily available.

Sultan,

I received your missive this morning.

Most gracious and honorable greetings go unto the Mentor of the Emperor. Your information is correct. We have arrested the person we feel is guilty of the assassination attempt.

I investigated this crime scene personally and have many questions.

As for my tactical skills the Emperor made me the Commander of the City Watch.

The City Watch can often be found in the Mystical Spirits tavern in Nujel'm.
