Magnate Isk,

When time permits, you and I need to sit down and have a nice talk. If the idea is agreeable to you, send word and I will attend you.

Isk spun his dagger absently in a counter circle on his ornate desk. If green eyes could be cold his were a frozen lake as he stared at the letter before him.

“Have a nice talk,” Isk repeated the words to himself over and over. “There is the impression of distaste in that, cruelty perhaps”

“Attend me?” Isk tilted his head, causing his thick mane to flutter while in his mind he imagined Arahim raising his arms in anger. “He writes in a manner that causes me to be defensive. So be it”

He turned the letter around and wrote on the back of it:

Arahim,

I will be blessed by your company. Come to my coast in Magincia where the sand burns hot and I will speak to you on your concerns with open arms.

Having finished the letter the Magnate lifted his dagger and gave it place between the plates of his armor in case someone needed to be murdered.

Magnate Isk,

I thank you for your hospitality last eve, and hope to return it in kind one day soon. I find Magincia very spacious, and wonder why so very few choose to visit your island.

I look forward to our continued association, and hope that my ill-worded points of contention did not fall on deaf ears.
