I've tried Trillian, Pidgin, and ICQ basic. Nothing works :< _________________

Have you upgraded to icq7? If not, this is ICQ trying to force you to, the way it did me. It will refuse, until I get a message to upgrade. |

My icq has been acting wonky all evening. I'm still holding out with an old version, and waiting to be forced to upgrade to their newest mess.
I use trillian for everything but icq. I have had problems with icq locking me out, and I'm convinced it was somehow related to me using trillian.
Yay, icq. Thanks, AOL, for messing up what was once a great program. _________________ An artist is a creature driven by demons ~Faulkner

Yep. Something went weird. I couldn't connect using pidgin or direct icq. And there wasn't a request to upgrade. Instead it kept saying, "YOu have tried too often, fail, you suck g'bye" or something along those lines. _________________ (4:45:41 PM) Jarem: It becomes increasingly difficult to feel noble in my causes when my cause is to defend my charge from her own violent tendencies. |

This has happened to me before. Be patient and use it later.

In Soviet Russia, ICQ disconnect YOU!
That sale was recent, perhaps they are actually doing some network upgrades. Either that or moving all the servers to Russia and making it tough for everyone in North America to connect. _________________ "There are those who dream to escape reality, and there are those who dream to change it." |
