Placing the gift in a decorative container, the drow lord takes a moment to scrutinize it one last time. The ancient hand mirror serving as the gift of choice lay reflecting a slightly distorted image of the drow as he peers over it. The silver of the mirror’s purple-jewel-encrusted handle, though long since tarnished from years of aging, causes Gorhun to smile as his mask becomes a green hue.

“Quite the suitable gift,” Gorhun says to himself, his mask changing a deep black as he places the lid on the box.

Pulling a quill from his desk the drow writes and attaches the following note to the gift just before sending it north to Stone Gate with a servant:
