A scribe takes down Merci's words as she lays in bed unable to rise this morn and sends it off with one of the trusted wolf Messengers..

My Love,

Last night your teahouse was raided of this you probably already know, the Order of the Ebon Skull came surprisingly into your lands. I had to fight, please forgive me, I kept my sheild up in front of my abdomen to protect.. our precious cargo. However a blade glanced off the shield and knicked my side. Do not fret i am fine, and will be Myrddin has me grounded to bed.. though I long to rise.

Willow and Crickette and the mage Stig got me all sewn up and cauterized (ugh with fire in fact) proper like ... so I am healing quickly.

You can find me in the Meadhall, that was the closest bed we could find, I pray Livvie doesnt mind.

Much Love,
Merci..

Bishimi took the note and looked it over, the look of anger grew over his face as he read. It was hard to not be upset that Merci took part in a battle even after their talk. It was hard not to be upset at his men's lack of taking care of his wife. It was hard to be upset for the men of Umbra coming to his land in general. But all of these things fall under what he truly grew upset over was that he himself was not there to help in the situation.

Bishimi quickly took the letter and tossed it to his desk as he began to make his way to the Meadhall in search of his injured wife.
