Kali wandered sleepily down stairs to her cute little kitchen to make some breakfast and start the day. As the muffins were baking in the wood fire stove... she sat contemplating her life. She was happier than she had been in such a long time.

She was in a satisfying relationship with Gerard. He was good to her and although they hadn't said it yet... she was pretty sure he loved her. She had completed her rites as a soldier of Blackmarsh and received her promotion. She was even trusted to lead a training session. Everything seemed to be going well for her.

Pulling the freshly baked muffins from the oven... she noticed a strange parchment lying on the floor. Kali set the muffins on the table and picked the parchment up. Carefully opening it... she discovered it was a note.

"Make your way to the Inn at Jhelom. Walk to the back and enter the guest room. You will find your way further from there."

This odd note piqued Kali's curiosity. She was curious by nature... always looking for adventure. She ran upstairs, changed her clothes and grabbed some supplies. Opening her rune book... she recalled into Jhelom and began looking for the Inn.

Moments later, she was entering the Inn. Kali walked cautiously towards the back guestroom. She opened the door without knocking and went inside. There was a strange man wearing a kasa. She could barely see his his face.

"What are you doing in here?" he asked.

"I found a note and was instructed to come here." she replied.

"Odd... I too received a note to come here. Enclosed in my note were a few pieces of an ancient scroll." said the stranger.

"Let me see them. Maybe I can decipher them." Kali said as she took the pieces of scroll.

Kali looked over the various tattered pieces of scroll. Each piece had only a single letter on it. She began to arrange the pieces in order several different ways. Finally... just as she was about to give up... the letters spelled out "Honor". The strange man in the kasa looked over her shoulder.

"Honor? Perhaps the shrine named Honor?" he suggested.

"Perhaps. It's not too far of a journey. Shall we go?" Kali asked.

"I have a boat outside at the docks. Let's explore this clue further." the stranger said.

The two made their way to the docks and boarded the boat. Soon they were sailing towards the shores near the Shrine of Chaos. Once they landed, they walked through the rough to the shrine. Upon arriving... Kali saw Malicite from Blackmarsh standing in the midst of the shrine.

"Mal? What are you doing here?" she asked him.

"The question is... what are YOU doing here?" he replied.

"We both found a note that led us on this journey." the stranger jumped in.

"Ah. And you followed the instructions regardless of the danger that might lay in wait? You followed your feet." Malicite said.

"I followed nothing... it was simple curiosity that led me here." answered the stranger in the kasa.

"It was your inner guide leading you. You followed your feet and you arrived here. Now... I'd like you to join me at the place where many lives have hung in the balance. Meet me at the place where men were judged according to their deeds." said Malicite cryptically.

And with that... he recalled out.

"I wonder if he's speaking of the Empathy Abby in Yew?" asked Kali.

"He could be... or he could be speaking of the Court of Truth... also in Yew. I spent some time there once." said the stranger.

"You're nothing but a common criminal!" shouted Kali.

"Come on. Let me conjure a gate for us to Yew." he said... ignoring Kali's remark.

The stranger in the kasa conjured up a magical gate to Yew and the two carried on with their task. First they checked the Abby just to be sure. There was nothing out of the ordinary there... so they moved on to the Court of Truth. The stranger greeted the guard as they entered... as if they were old friends. Kali found this bizarre. They spotted Malicite and walked over to him.

"You've made it! You followed your feet and here you are!" Malicite smiled.

"I have devised a series of 7 books. Each one will draw you closer to the secret of your own personal journey." he continued.

Malicite handed Kali the first of the 7 books and said, "Follow your feet" before recalling away.

"I don't know about all this follow your feet nonsense!" exclaimed the stranger in the kasa.

"Me either... but I intend to find out." Kali responded.

"By the way... what is your name stranger?" she asked.

"It's no concern of yours." he answered as he left Kali standing in the court.
