The morning broke upon the mountains once more falling with great relief upon the fasting Stoneguardians, granting them everything in excess, and yet many still waited in anticipation for the feast.

The Great Feast, the newly remodeled Meadhall wafted spices and the smell of roasting meats, freshly made soups and cakes of greatlayers. Rich , luscious food.

Meanwhile, many slept late an unusual occurrence and Merci paused to plant a kiss upon her husbands cheek before dressing and heading out the door. She went to her favorite waterfall and bathed long in the silky cascading water. Its icey fingers filling her with cold renewal.

Energy crackled around the City anew as the hour grew near and they would soon gather.

The meadhall filled with great laughter, warmth and people.

Aye, indeed, was many of the Stoneguardians favorite part of the holiday, and well deserved, for they had all worked so hard. Perhaps even the Wolf King would crack a rare smile...
