Fiona smoothed down her tunic, glancing at herself in the mirror. Catching a glimpse of the worried expression on her face, she stopped fussing with her clothing and sighed.

Not since Cal Hurst had she felt such an attraction to someone. She had sworn that, after her and Cal parted ways, she would never give herself to another. The pain was never worth it - not in the end. Besides, it just complicated things. Feelings always did.

Yet, there she stood, primping in front of a mirror as if they were going on a first date. Fiona was so disappointed in herself.

"You are an idiot. Just like the rest of them.", she told her reflection.
