The morning slowly opened its eyes upon the sleepy city, and across the mountain a sound rang out like that of several hunting horns.

The day had arrived and made itself known to the people of Stonegate. The day of the Hunt was upon them.
No breakfast for rising bodies, No lunch as they toiled, No dinner this day for the Hunters..

The test was upon them, would the hunger claim them? Or would the strength of unity keep them from it. Even now the children pouted for a bit of porridge, the cook busily preparing for the next days feast but releasing none to hungry eyes.

Yet there would be no food, not a crumb released until midnight stroke its glorious hour upon the people of Stonegate.

We sacrifice with hunger now to sharpen our senses, to know the deep pangs of hunger as we take down our prey.

The clang of armour filled the air as soldiers, suppliers and mages worked tediously to prepare for The Great Hunt.

Merci turned standing upon her balcony she smiled upon her mountain home, she smiled upon Stonegate with the love of a true Stoneguardian.

To the Hunt! She called to the wolves, and their padded feet hit snow as they began to do that which they did best.

The People of Stonegate were Hungry and Ready, anticipation filled the air....

The gray light of dawn found Korin sitting on his throne surrounded by ice. This day like many others would be a test. Not of strength and not of steal but of will power. Korin twirled the pirates hat lazily around on the end of his finger. This one his sister had not worn but it was one like hers. and it served as a reminder to Korin of those who were no longer with us.
Korin stood up from his throne and made his way to his office he placed the hat on his desk in its normal place. He took out his armor and began to clean and polish it. Today he would look his best for the hunt. As he worked his stomach reminded him that it was time for breakfast. Korin ignored his stomach for today he would not eat. For today he would fast in the name of those fallen, He would make sure that he was hungry for the hunt that was to come.
