The little beast lurked about the north Malas mountains nervously, fleeing as soon as it found the lich and delivered a letter.

Greetings, Malikhia.

It has been some time since we spoke, I would be pleased to have another meeting with you sometime. Perhaps, this time not in a cave with battle raging around us. The conversation was delightful, I enjoy discussing the finer points of magic with fellow wizards. While I could invite you to Umbra, more than likely heading to a neutral area such as Moonglow would be a better idea. Please send me your thoughts.

Sincerely, Kaelthir.

Malikhia set down, now weeks later, to respond to the letter wasting on his desk.

Kaelthir,

I would forward my words to you with an apology, however as a fellow scholar you understand our lack of availability at times. I would be pleased to meet so that we may finish our conversation. We will meet in the Lycaeum tomorrow evening. Shall we say 22 hours past zero?

If this is acceptable then arrive, if not than I shall expect the courtesy of a response.

-Malikhia Wrenk

Upon rolling the note, he set two fingers on the beak of the young phoenix at his side. The bird respectfully opened its jowls and accepted the rolled parchment setting off to find her mark in Umbra.
