Tidings, Wretched One,

There is something I wished to discuss with you in depth. I will be seeking you out this evening.

Eternally,

Ah, Umbran mornings. The cacophony of screeching bats, wailing dead, and howling timber wolves fell silent, replaced by the cawing of crows as dawn broke and the black sky became slightly less black as sun attempted to pierce the sky's cloudy veil. Kaelthir set a pot of nightshade to brew and stepped outside to check the day's mail. The energy floating within her eye sockets danced excitedly as she noticed the mailbox's flag lifted. Someone sent her something! Oh how delightful, she wondered to herself what it would be today? More trapped boxes? Explosion potions? A bag of something unpleasant set on fire? She non chalantly flipped the mailbox open and peered inside, a letter contained within. How lovely! Perhaps a threat against her for whatever injustice she had most recently committed, or general threats, or hate mail, or black mail. Or, or, perhaps Malikhia finally replied to her! She reached into the mailbox and opened the letter and read it over. While not what she expected, she did find her new title amusing. "Wretched one" indeed, a step up from "That damned girl of a lich." Kaelthir reached into the pouch at her side and pulled out a loose leaf of paper and set it against the wall of Morn Cirith and traced her finger along it, searing magic onto the paper to form letters. Upon completion, she gathered energy in her hand and pointed towards the ground, the words Kal Xen Bal guiding the energy to summon forth a horde minion at her feet. Kaelthir handed the horde minion the letter and sent it off to find Ceinwyn.

Kaelthir wrote:

Greetings, Ceinwyn.

Simply come to Morn Cirith whenever you wish to speak. Curious enough, Dealthagar is rarely in his office. Thus I consider this my tower still, you will find me here quite regularly.

Sincerely, Kaelthir the Arch Mage and High Apothecary of Umbra, and now apparently the wretched one as well.
