Tierna sat in the armoire opposite the front door. Her ankles crossed and tucked beneath the chair as befitted a lady. Her long nails of deep brown reminiscent of dried blood tapped idly on the arm rest. She pursed her lips slightly as she waited for Bryelle to come home. Protocol had not been followed, she thought, in regards to the servant girl. Tierna had told Bryelle long ago that the child would be a problem. And as per usual, Tierna was right. 14 hours into resting herself within the confines of the patterned cushions the subject of her disdain arrived at the Manor.

"You did not contact me when the problem started." Tierna's tone was calm, cold and decidedly lethal. Bryelle turned at the sound and her form swirled in a half mist in response.

"I took care of it on my own." Bryelle said wistfully, as if to brush it off as no big deal. That thinking was quickly put to rest as Tierna raised her hand and hissed quietly 3 times in succession, "Por Ort Grav." Instantaneously beats of lightening struck Bryelle one after another. Crumpling to the wood at Tierna's feet, Bryelle began to fade in and out unable to hold her form any longer. "In Ex Grav." The words were once again calm and slightly hissed out through partially open teeth. "No, please don't go quite so soon." Bryelle couldn't have gone anywhere if she had tried to. She was effectively paralyzed in this half shadow form. "Protocol insists that you contact the lady of the house before you decide on a course of action. You failed to do so." The corners of Tierna's mouth curled slightly down and her hand remained poised in firm control of the field. "Now we shall have a lesson." And with that her brows lowered and her Hazel green eyes gave a menacing twinkle. Life and death were after all, all about lessons, weren't they?
