*A heavily cloaked figure, standing about 5'9, face and limbs obsured by lairs of fine fabrics and plate armor would unfurl a large scroll before the Emperor of Blackmarsh if permitted entry to his court, and would proceed to present to him the royal signet ring of Prince Adrien X. Garnier II. Regent XII of Britannia*

Master of the Ebon Skull
The Overlord of Umbra
Lord of the Ebon Council & Master of Charnel Hill
Scion of the Order of the Ebon Skull & The Stygian Empire of the First Age of Sosaria
High-Priest of Oblivion
Wearer of the Ring of the Skull
Wearer of the Ring of the Arcane
Holder of the Tome of Nizar
Keeper of the Sacred Mirror of Morgaz
Protector of the Sacred Dogmas of the Stygian-Empire
Successor of the Lich Lords Nizar, Azalin, Admoreth and Levas
The Lich Lord Darrien Church the Ominpotent, divine will of Oblivion Incarnate
Speaks:
To The Emperor & People of the Blackmarsh Empire,
Blessings upon your lands & your people from the Order of the Ebon Skull and the city of Umbra. The Lich Lord Darrien Church, our Master, extends a word of thanks for your allowance of the participation of his Death Knights in your recent bouts of strength. The ability of your Emperor to see beyond rumor and hearsay, and permit beings devoutly belonging to our Master's fold to enter into contest is a testament to what can be considered the seeds of a lasting and prosperous rule.
The Lich Lord invites the Emperor of Blackmarsh and all of his people who may wish it to attend a special benediction and ceremony to commemorate the construction of a fitting shrine to house our most sacred Ebon Skull. The People of Blackmarsh may also consider for the remainder of the weekend to be permitted free permission to explore Umbra proper, Charnel Hill and Southern Malas barring of course our master's own sacred chambers. Your people will be permitted to remain armed, so long as the Emperor can promise upon his word that they shall not act in violence against the beings that inhabit Southern Malas.
It is our Master's hope you may be willing to see for yourselves what aspects of what is said and believed to be known of our people are true, and which are propaganda offered by our enemies to seek the ruination of our people, our culture, our ways and our Master.
Our master also sends forth a gift to the Emperor, should he chose to accept the invitation or not, he should consider this a gift of thanks for the honours permitted his Loyal Deathknight as a result of the Emperor's permissions of participation.
All Hail the Lich Lord.
All Hail the Ebon Skull.
All Hail Queen Catherine Skyfire, most beloved servant of the Lich Lord
All Hail The Ebon Council
May Umbra Prosper Eternal Under Their Sacred & Entropic Gaze.

A messenger wearing the colors of dull copper grey and valorite blue carries a letter in hand. He strolls along the streets of Umbra, making his way toward Charnel Hill. He seeks a member of the Ebon Skull to accept the letter.
Dear Umbra,
The letter sent to the Emperor of Blackmarsh did not specify who in fact should receive the his letter in response. With this said, and the gift sent along with it, the Emperor can only assume it was indeed the Lich Lord Darrien Church who sent the letter. It is with this acknowledgement that a letter is penned in response to the Lich Lord.
The Emperor feels no reason to accept a thanks from the Ebon Skull for allowing their Death Knights to participate in our joust. Sosaria may see the Lich Lord and his followers as a threat or a danger to Sosaria. Even if this is the case, Umbra has done well to stay away from Felucca and not to over step their boundaries with Blackmarsh. Your armies and your doings may always remain wary to the Emperor and the soldiers of Blackmarsh, but we do not see you as our enemy.
Emperor Bracken does not let feelings and pride cloud his judgment or his acceptance of others. Blackmarsh wished for the best display of fighters across Sosaria to take part in it's joust. We apparently would not have had this, if Umbra has been excluded, considering your Death Knight was victorious. As long as the Lich Lord respects the laws of Blackmarsh and the rule of it's Emperor, then the two cities will remain void of war.
Blackmarsh will indeed make an appearance at your ceremony. The Emperor wishes to gaze upon the doings of the Ebon Skull with his own eye. Regardless whether or not Sosaria is wrong about the Ebon Skull, Blackmarsh will not deny an invitation for celebration.
Emperor Bracken accepts your gift given to him. He is quite pleased with such an offer of thanks. The point that thanks wasn't needed in the first placed in stress, but the thought means much. Our Emperor also wishes an audience with the Lich Lord Darrien Church, regarding the signet.
Sincerely,
Sarian
Blackmarsh Warlord
