Takumi returned home from the morning walk. life for him was more at ease now the time he had spent home with his family seemed to heal his spirit. he was no longer worried about what was to become of them. there was one last thing they must accomplish before truly moving on. he stood in the center of the empty room crates filled with their belongings. it seemed so empty, this place that they shared so many memories in. Edda was finishing up in the other room as takumi walked through the kitchen to be sure all was taken care of.

Wiping the counter he couldnt help but smile as he had flashbacks of his practice sessions of cooking pancakes. Takumi began to chuckle quietly wondering if edda would still brag about his apple pancakes if she learned that it took him so long to learn to make them. He wanted to impress her so much back then and knowing her love for pancakes he was determined to learn. wiping the counters clear of any dust that might of settled in the last few days takumi nodded and decided it was time to move on.

Moving into the small dojo area of the house takumi took a moment and just looked around memories came flooding back. Edda and himself spent countless hours training in that room. he looked at the back wall and saw a shuriken still stuck there like a constant reminder, he remembered the day it ended up there. they had been training like they did whenever they got the chance and edda threw a shuriken towards it passed soo close to his face that he could feel the wind of its motion across his face. takumi stood quiet as absorbed the memories of the good times they had in that room. takumi opened up a empty crate and began to carefully place the weapons in it when he felt a hand on his shoulder he turned to see edda behind him.

She smiled sadly and told him she was finished packing the rest. Shinto speed-crawled in after her and sat on her foot. Yuna came jogging in, hair all astray, glasses smudged with tiny fingerprints, smiling apologetically at them. She scooped Shinto up and went back into the other room.

Things had been really weird for Edda lately. Ever since she left, she felt lost. Never knowing where to go, or what to do. At first she had been afraid they would kill her for leaving.. she heard ninja clans were like that. So she had put Shinto with Yuna and Takumi and spent a lot of time sleeping elsewhere. She missed them and couldn't wait for things to be stable and regular again.

She mostly slept in the Umbran Inn. The first person she had gone to visit after leaving, was Kaelthir, who invited her to stay in Umbra as long as she needed to. She figured it would be safest, she couldn't imagine anyone in the Lotus guessing she'd go there. She uncomfortably slept in her armor for weeks, in a dingy Umbran bed, with spiderwebs and skulls and all kinds of other gross stuff around. She missed Shinto and Takumi, and the warm smell of apple pancakes on the stove. She missed sake. She missed cherry blossom trees. She missed hugs and kisses and sunshine. Umbra was so.. dark and cold. She found it odd, feeling safest in a place like this.

Edda glanced at Tak, eyes all watery, and said "I'm going to miss this house..and I'm really going to miss the Lotus". He pulled her in for a kiss on the forehead and a tight hug and said "I know.. but the apple pancakes will be just as good in Blackmarsh". She laugh/cried into his shoulder, and they just stood hugging and looking around at the empty house for several minutes.
