Izrem pulled down one of the announcements during one of his many walks through Felucca Minoc. But not out of spite or contrariness. He couldn't help but admire the extraordinary inking and impressive font designs on the poster.
"I haven't seen designs this well done since Magencia was destroyed and the Humanis Voice stopped being massed produced." he noted to no one in particular. "Or perhaps they simply have a lot of artisans with a lot of time on their hands?"
After a moment his curious tick regarding fancy bits and baubles was finally subsumed beneath his more natural and passive exterior as he folded the notice and placed it within his satchel for filing and recording.
"My my. Serious about this alliance are they? Quite enamored with their present spotlight, I suppose. It is to be expected." he spoke aloud to himself, as he walked down the streets towards the Gypsy camp town.
"They are young nations... they already know the art of deceit. They certainly showed their hand in Luna. They showed their true natures upon the snow caps of Stonegate itself. They like the taste of it i'd say. Let us see how long before one of the two finds the knife of their 'ally' in their back."
"If I get this one right... i'll be two for two on prophecies." Izrem continued to muse as he drew a runebook from his satchel. "If that's the case, perhaps I should become the next prophet of Oblivion!"
A faint chuckle echoed through the still night of the city, followed by a sharp flash of light, then silence once more. _________________ Femmies?! HOWAH!

Emily read the announcement with a contemplative look on her face. Marriage was a serious business. It was not to be taken lightly. It was one to be entered into with love and an open mind. Catching her breath out of emotional habit, Emily thought of her little girl. Was this out of love? Was this out of happiness? It was time to have another heart to heart. And maybe just maybe it was time to talk to this prospective husband. Yes... She needed to see where he stood as well. There was much at stake after all. Clutching something tightly in her hand, Emily followed her own heart dissipating in a wisp of white smoke with a destination of getting answers in mind. |

*Fiona looked at the announcement and wrinkled her nose*
"Must they make a spectacle out of it?", she wondered aloud.
*Fiona sighed heavily*
"This should be a discreet and somber ceremony." she mused before shaking her head and leaving. |

The Wolf King seldom liked to repeat himself, and so he did so as little as possible.
But, in his mind, if there was something that he did catch himself repeating proudly on a regular basis... it was that he was first and foremost a soldier.
His title was a product of fate. Both capability and necessity had inspired him to become a leader, and in doing so he fulfilled prophecies and had become something more.
The blood of wolves ran through his blood, and through it a malleable stone of a very old magic responded to his will.
Myrddin ab'Arawn never was, nor never would be, a politician.
He would, however, follow the part. As much as it took for the betterment of his people.
Stonegate and Blue Lotus.
*****************************************************
The flow of Myrddin's thoughts was winding, quick and without stillness like rivers of white water.
It was these thoughts that now consumed him as he stared over the elaborately painted poster once more before rolling it up and binding it carefully.
His hand slowly lowered with the rolled up parchment, granting it unto the creature who had so loyally and patiently accompanied him to the exotic lands of Tokuno.
The wolves had become a standard, for they were everything the Wolf King required them to be. Guardians, messengers, hunters... and an image that embodied everything that was Stonegate.
This wolf would play the part of messenger as bound forward for the Tea House of the Blue Lotus.
Myrddin watched it run from him, now alone, he returned to his thoughts as he turned toward the moongate of Zento.
******************************************************
There were many reactions to this wedding when it was announced internally, and now it was announced to the world.
Myrddin did not know how the masses that were familiar with this pair would respond, or if they would even understand. But he was confident in the decisions that he and the Empress had made. There could be no stronger coupling between the two nations than the one that was to be established in mere days.
For months their nations had grown closer to one another, grown stronger with one another, fighting on the fields and sitting in the taverns.
Even when the relationship between the two was young, they had worked together and accomplished great things...
Deceit, jealousy, greed...ignorance followed by hatred, petty judgments, grave misunderstandings... none of it had swayed their course.
Now the foundation of their alliance would become sturdier than ever.
Merci and Bishimi had both earned Myrddins respect long ago. Warriors who were strong, leaders who were wise, beings who embraced their differences where others might succumb to a supposed weakness.
On the edge of conquest, minutes from the final step to one of Myrddin's goals formed long before Stonegate itself existed... Regardless of their progress..
With this binding, there was more Promise than Myrddin had felt in some time.
He looked forward to the world they would create a new...
******
A rare smile might have been noticed upon Myrddin's face..but the opportunity was lost. Energies swirled about his body with a great flash, propelling him through space between facets. _________________ "You see I can not be forsaken, because I'm not the only one. *Felyn smiled, reading the announcement*
She had some exciting ideas for their honeymoon.
*Felyn grinned*
"I wonder how flexible Bishimi is...", she thought, giggling to herself. |

Korin read the notice, a smile crept to his lips. finally one step closer to her being happy. Korin turned and started back towards stonegate valley. His mind playing over and over the events since his return to his mothers side. Korin hoped that Bishimi was the man to bring his mother happiness.
Happiness was something she so deserved. Korin liked Bishimi, He had spent time talking to him to get to know the man who was marring his mother.
Korin stopped a frown came to his face, then followed by an evil grin. "Where are you father?" he spoke into the wind. "I would so like to see your face when you find out mother is getting married!" |

Willow smirked seeing the poster. After the meeting with Merci's mother she knew this was going to be a union to remember. _________________ Malorn ‎(12:14 AM):

Quote: | Out on your own, Cold and alone, can this be what you really wanted? |
Alone, No more...the words dripped like a spring breeze across an icy plane.
A headress of ice upon the brides head.
Quote: | Blame it on Me, Set your guilt free, Nothing can hold you back now. |
Your death, it wasnt my fault, though I am sorry mother.. I would have you and father here today. I will never
be helpless again.
A Kryss hidden in the brides Kimono. For that was Merci.
Quote: | Now that your gone I feel like myself again, grieving the things I cant repair and willing... |
This is my path with my clan for his clan I must go and I must move on. I must let your death not rule me
anymore.
You were right, I knew. I hated you for it, I loved you for it.
She sets a fan in her hand open fully, the bride now turning to her mirror of ice.
Quote: | I dont want to hold you back now love, |
I love you both...
An image forms behind her of them her mind staring at those faces still unknown.
Quote: | I can't change who I am, Not this time, I wont lie to keep you near me | .
Will you forgive me?
The bride affixes a necklace of diamonds around her throat, while armour still lies beneath
her Kimono hidden.
Quote: | There's no time to waste on giving up, my love wasnt enough.. |
My faith is...
The door opens and the bride turns to face it... walking thru it her heart trembling but her
mind set.

Bishimi walked around Zento,as he does everyday, normally taking in every detail finding anything or anyone out of place but today was very different. Today the Soke walked with his head down, mumbling, obviously bothered in some way. He stopped at the bank as the poster caught his eye. The uncharacteristically nervous ninja looked over the words and took a deep breath. "Today is the day..." he thought to himself as he walked away mumbling again "from this day forward....be intertwined...blessed....*sighs* I'm no good at this." |
