A small, fluffy snake slithered by, looking frantically for the recipient of choice. He stayed within the shadows so no one would go and stomp on him, his little snake-like body quivering in fear at all the people around him. Around his neck, tied with a tiny red bow, was a letter.
Dear Tay,
It's been a long time and I need to speak to you. Korin is back.
Love,
Ciara |

Tay placed the letter down after reading it carefully. He sighed quietly. Each time he returned to Stonegate, it had been for a short period of time. The last few years had proven to be fairly busy for the young man. He had worked his fingers to the bone, soaking up every bit of parchment he could about Sosaria History and Battle Tactics.
It hadn't been a secret that both him and Ciara had shared a bond with eachother. They kept in contact, but nothing more than a few visits and short letters. His mind was always at ease, knowing he could visit home and Ciara would be waiting for him.
Now with the return of Korin, he wasn't sure what possible good it could bring.
Tay sent a letter in reply to Ciara.
Dear Ciara,
We can meet soon. I'll be returning home in the next few days. Make sure he isn't around when I come to visit you.
With Love,
Tay Thormear |

Ciara stood outside the mead hall, the cold blistering winds racing across the valley, whipping her cheeks as she stared hopelessly. He wasn't coming. She'd send the letter off over two weeks ago, and still, no answer. She moved her cloak closer to her, her potions unable to prevent the ice from penetrating, With a sigh, she turned and walked inside, finding a quill and parchment, wrote a letter. Seeing the blizzard outside, she handed it off to a courier, and sat back to wait.
Dear Tay,
It's been two weeks since I last wrote you. I suppose at this point, there's little to talk about.
With regards,
Ciara |
