|
Samantha had a young heart; she hadn’t the heartbreaks of a woman. She only had the happiness she felt inside and that was enough for her. She walked along the pool table in the Gentlemen’s Club running her finer along the side as she hummed happily. Stopping she pulled out a card and happily held it to her chest… she didn’t care if she was being reckless… she would go there tonight. She had so much work to do in the coming days since Bri had begun to prepare for her journey and she wanted to take some time to do this for herself. Sam had been forced to learn the operations of the club. Though it hadn’t yet gotten its feet wet much, Bri knew someday it would and she wanted Sam to be prepared for it.
Running across the path to Bri’s house, soon to be hers, she couldn’t stop the smile that was plastered on her face and she could scarce keep her heart from jumping out of her chest. She had so many things to look forward to… and she was too blind with the happiness of it all to care of any repercussions in the end. |
