Logged out after 3 am this morning in zento, very much alive. I am guilded, but am the only one in my guild. My guild is not allied nor warred with any other. I should know, I am the GM, and I checked. Logged in this morning, as a ghost. Very high positive Karma. Cant think of any spawning monsters that would wander into town that could kill me unattended. Only thing i can think of is someone released a Greater near me. That could kill me if i am unattended. Only if I am unattended waiting to time out after logging.

Someone else has been leaving released Greaters in my friend's yard in zento, right out city limits. If they want to play this game, I have 4 tamers with greaters. I can drop 20 in there in no time. And keep doing it. This is childish. You want to kill me, WAR me and go for it.

That is a kinda wild conclusion to jump to...specifically since most rpers who RP in Zento don't know who you are anymore...

Did you check the journal? If you didn't close out the game and didn't time out, it should be in there. Do you have any idea what animal did? I know dire wolves walk into town and attack players. Usually, guards will kill things though, as NPCS are wont to scream.

When I have had to go kill greaters camped outside friends house. I am 120 Bush Parry Sampire, and was carrying a blade. Even unattended, it would take a pretty decent high level monster to kill me. A mare could do it, a dread, but it would have to be something strong enough to kill me before it got guard whacked. NOBODY could attack a me in Zento, as I am the only one in my guild, and I am not allied or warred. There is nothing that spawns in the area or desert that could do it. With autodefend, my skills and blade, I have lost connection near liches and came back with them dead. It would take a pack of smaller animals, and somehow I dont see them wandering into town as a pack, there are no events going on. I might have been guard whacked for farting unattended, but other than that what other conclusion can i draw. I was standing in guard zone where i logged out, in a trammel ruleset, with no other person having the ability to attack me.

It doesnt have to be someone in the RP Community. However that is mostly what hangs out in Zento. And I have had to go kill a greater released at my friends house, and she has had other gifts left for her.

First off, don't you have a house to log off in?
Second, I can see why you may think it'd be an RPer as there is a group of rpers who rp in Zento.

But it seems to be either:
A. Your friend made someone mad and that's why they're bugging her.
or
B. Someone was board and released it.

I highly -highly- doubt it was an rper, let alone one from Zento, considering 95% of the Zento rpers arnt tamers.

I know personally i have a member that live outside city limits that has dealt with hiyru's being released at their front door. He dont exactly mind as he "loves the karma gains" but it is very inconvenient for his wife, to whom the house actually belongs. I cant say it is something that happens a lot. While the RP presence in Zento has grown we are hardly the only guilds that could do such a thing.....actually I can say for fact that none of my men would. While I feel for what happened to you I do not appreciate the insinuation that it was an RP guild, especially when sayin it was one of tokuno as the only RP guilds in tok are under my watch. I can tell you I will inform my men to watch for such actions (as thats where we bank and just hang in general) and keep me informed if they see anything. again...im sorry that happened to you.

and not saying its a RPer. But thats three people now that have reported pets being released in the area. Zento needs a Leash Law or something.

Yeah I got a house. 4 actually. Castle, keep, and two other houses. I have LOGGED out in zento for YEARS. This is the first time ever logged back in as a ghost.

And I posted here cause it makes other players aware that there is a problem, and since most of the people that hang there are RPers, wouldnt they want to know there is an issue?

My advise would be to create a control test.

Pretend to be unattended a few nights a week in zento, at the later hours, while still maintaining watch on your client. If this is something that has happened before this one occurrence, it will surely happen again.

When it does, you will know who did it, as you are actually there to see it.

Second option, if you can not stay up late enough, is to get a journal logger, and simply not turn off your client, or log your character out. After a bit, again, if this is definitely a repeat scenario, it will happen again, and you will know from the journal logging, when you wake up the next day.

If this is an isolated occurrence, having not happened before this one event... It likely will never happen again, and there is really no way for you to actually know what happened, without a doubt.

We have a similar issue in Umbra with people thinking that it is fun to release pets that go after negative karma, unicorns and kir-ins. This isn't an every day thing, but it happens from time to time.

i caught someone releasing greater dragons in zento the other day when i tried to ask why they just ignored me, i was hoping for a free dragon *cries* they pretended like i wasn't even there. cant remember the name of the person for sure but i did catch the guild they were from but i wont mention it on the forums just in case i was mistaken
