Drayden figured it was long past time to speak with the newly established Umbran Government to the North of their Quarter. The Matron had ordered and he was not one to disappoint. He penned this letter to Regent Ariana Lenior and had a slave promptly deliver it:

Regent Lenior:
The Honored Matron Kal'iksix Viaxus sends her congratulations and greetings to you Ariana, new Regent of Southern Malas. I am hoping to meet with you soon about the recent changes that have taken place and make arrangements that will be beneficial to both parties involved. Given our close proximity to the Umbran city proper, it is in our best interests to work together and cooperate. I am sure there is much that both our House and the Umbran Government have to offer one another. If any further correspondence is necessary, you can speak with me, Drayden, Ilharn of House Qu'ellar D' Alean'und. I look forward to speaking to you further, and if we can speak as friends then perhaps my Matron will speak with you as well in the future.
