Yuna bid her fellow Lotus members goodnight and recalled into the desert, walking up the little path to the Fujiwara's front door. She slid her sandals off at the door and walked in to see Edda and Tak cleaning their weapons together. Even though this wasn't an abnormal sight to see upon walking into their house, it still made her smirk. They were so happy just spending time doing anything together. She held her hands casually behind her back, to hide something from Edda's view and said hello to them. The smiled and nodded their heads and she near-sprinted up the stairs to her little room. They had asked her to stay with them while Shinto was young. They were always so busy with Blue Lotus stuff.

Once inside, she slid the door closed and dropped her backpack, which hit the floor quickly with a big thud, due to the amount of books she carried in it. Crossing the floor she placed a single red rose and a pearl necklace on the shelf. Then she walked back to her backpack, removed a book and a quill and tossed them on the bed. She removed all her armor and set it neatly on a chair in the corner, untied her braids and let her long red hair loose. She abandoned her dress for a shirt and shorts, and climbed onto her bed, propping her back on a large pillow. Opening the book, and flipping to a clean page, she folded the rest of the book back and rested the book on her legs. After thinking for a moment or two, she grabbed her quill and started writing.

Dear Orpheus.. *scratch scratch scratch* Dear Orpheus
She sighed, thought, and wrote again.
To Dr. O. *scratch scratch scratch* To Dr. O.
Another sigh. Another thought. Then she simply wrote.
Orpheus,

I know you were concerned that I would not like your gifts. But you should know that even the smallest smile from you makes me happier than any present.

I've heard things about you I didn't like, and of course it has made trusting you difficult.. but deep down I just keep hoping what you say is true.

Love .. Sincerely
-Yuna

She then folded the top and bottom in to the middle, like a letter, and bent over to put it in her backpack. Then she paused, took it back out, opened it up, looked at it, crumpled it up in a ball, chucked it across the room and sighed. Snapping her lamp off in frustration with herself, she wiggled further into the blankets and laid in the dark, wondering if she'd ever have the balls to tell him.

"I hate this," Orpheus thought to himself as he began to summon two air elementals "if Jason keeps me doing this I swear I will kill him myself then leave this land." Without hesitation Orpheus started his onslaught on the creatures of the wind. Each set of words he mumbled causing different effects on them, some shooting fire from his hands another brought down lightning on the beasts.

For all his threats Orpheus knew he would not leave, it was Jason that kept him here in tokuno with the army for so long. In all his travels he had never seen a mage so good, so calm in battle but yet so fierce. In one of his few moments of honesty to himself he admitted to admiring all members of the Iron Lotus even though they trusted the ninja so completely for he did not. His mind began to focus on one member as he fought the elementals and this was his first mistake. His spells stopped taking shape properly, he found himself getting hit more then he should. With this he began to panic, his normally cold and steely reserve giving way to ramblings of a novice mage.

"Kal Vas Yuna!" He shouted not realizing the mistake he made.
His eyes widened in disbelief as the spell did not work and the two vortexes of wind came down upon him. His world went black, for how long he did not know but he awoke face down on the dirt road. Orpheus rolled over onto his back doing his best to get a look at the surrounding area hoping none saw what happened to him. When he confirmed he was still alone a small smile crossed his face realizing he had a new reason to stay. Orpheus closed his eyes and pictured her face framed in long braids of red hair and how her glasses made her eyes shine even brighter.

No, he would not be going any where anytime soon.
