Hey everybody!

Just wanted to hop onto the boards early this morning and say hey. I've been at Boot Camp for the last 8 weeks so its great to be back home and enjoying the Christmas season with my family. I hope you all are having pleasant holidays as well, and are still doin' UO's favorite pasttime on a daily basis. lol

If there if anything I can say about being out of Basic Training, its that you all should definitely enjoy the freedoms you have! Don't take anything for granted because you rely on people probably more than any of you think! That's just me talkin' though.

Glad to know you're well. Enjoy your down time.

Can't speak for others, but I never take my freedom for granted. Ever. And I tend to remember who to thank for it, also.

Didn't know you decided to join, but awesome. One more person to compare BS stories with. Week 8 already eh. Does it still only last 8 weeks? Not sure, these days.

Feels alot longer than 8 weeks Jen, but I'd like to think I've been hangin' tough these past couple winter months in Basic.

I've got 2 more weeks to go now. Were doing the FOB week where we sleep out and everything.

And thanks for the kind words Xana, and its great that you don't take your freedoms for granted. Eating when you want, going when you want, and speaking freely is definitely something I won't take for granted again.

Eight weeks? I thought it was six months. They're letting you guys off easy. Grats on Completion man, glad to hear all went well and you're doing well. Good job, and thank you for your service.

Not done yet. Have about two weeks to finish up once I get back, and then I'll be off to AIT. Now THAT will take about 7 months for me. There is alot of knowhow when your a camera man for the Army supposedly! Rolling Eyes
