Lady Aylwin,

Despite the things that have passed between yourself, and your daughter, I cannot understand, or further abide the notion that you have never laid eyes upon your only grandchild.

Christopher is walking and talking these days, among other things that you may have a unique insight to.

I cannot mend what sours your relationship with Sylvan, but if you have a mind to meet your grandson, I will be happy to bring him to you.

As a side note, and at the risk of insulting you, please do not have Zachary with you as his rambling speeches on learning, and tiresome devotion to some quasi-religion amount to nothing than the words of a born slave. I'd not have my son exposed to such weakness at so young an age.
