Town Criers wandered through the lands announcing the following, and posted the following at all Mints, Taverns and Poles.

General Proclamation

The Esteemed and otherwise Illustrious Cal Hurst has agreed to face the charges that the City Watch has leveled against him.

This will take place at the Yew Court of Truth at 9 by the Eastern Sun Transcendant on Saturday, the 28th.

Presiding judge will be Justice Tai Kwan.

Prosecuting barrister will be Aleister Flagg.

The charge is the assault of a member of the City Watch.

Lord Hurst will represent himself.

Yasamin strolled past the front gates into Moonglow proper, her eyes catching a small flyer, due to the bold words on top. She read the poster, her lips twitching. What did he do this time... She re-read the post again. He's going to reperesent himself? Apparently his arrogance had become more detrimental than she thought.

The poster caught Merrique's eye as she strolled through east Britain toward the Salty Dog, and she chuckled as she read the ostentatiously written announcement. It didn't matter to Merrique if Cal was guilty or innocent in the eyes of this court; as a gypsy Merri knew that what was presented in the courts of the so-called lawmen was often skewed in their favor and truth was not always the priority. Long had her people been victimized when a conviction was needed. Whether it was due to there being no true leads to pursue, or someone wished to further their law career, it was a reality of the nomadic people. Somehow, gypsies often and conveniently wound up facing charges of which they were innocent.

Her chuckling turned to hearty laughter when she read the smaller print in the lower corner of the poster.

"Padawin? What in the worlds is a Padawin?"

For the rest of the day, every time she thought of that word, she laughed quietly.
