Alaundril arrived at Shadowhall from the Alliance ceremony. He had remained silent through the entire event, unless it was to be cordial to his fellow Stoneguardians. His taste for Lotus Ninjas and Tokunans in general was growing sour. They were a amusing lot, polite and set in their own silly little ways of doing things. So petty. So Human. The pulled the bear hood down of his cloak down as he walked into the meeting Chamber in the basement, fetching a quill and pen to write:

The Alliance ceremony went off well. I felt it inappropriate to voice my concerns and outright disagreement with this decision. Especially during the ceremony itself. I hold you and our King in high regard. I trust your judgment, but my mind cannot stop thinking of the consequences and the possibilities that the future may hold. This does not settle right with me, given what I have seen the Lotus capable of in the months spent watching their activity in Tokuno. Please find time to meet with me so I may explain further. It is an unwise ruler that does not hear the concerns of his people. I myself value insight and a fair eye. Just be wary, ensure that your feelings in the matter of the Blue Lotus are based on what is good for Stonegate and not your prior strife with them. It is silly to think that on their end or ours that all would agree and go along with this Pact without some bit of discontent.
