I feel like I make one of these every so often. But apparently it needs to be said time and time again, so here goes.

Cal is a jerk. Much like Vaen was, only in a different, more direct way. Cal will continue to be a jerk. He will think he is the best thing since British. Cal is set in his beliefs and will continue to act the way he does until some other calling appears for him.

I am not Cal. Cal's thoughts are his own, and mine are my own. This is a simple separation of IC and OOC. Please do not assume that when Cal starts saying things about someone or something that I feel the same way. And please, do not ICQ bomb me en masse when you think I'm being rude ICly as a way to be rude OOCly.

Just to help clarify. Ken icqed me and told me he was going to say things at the meeting. Cal was being the jerk. Ken was being thoughtful. It can be difficult to realize that soemtimes folks play characters that are not nice. I play Cherry Delite, the stripper. I am not now nor have I ever been a stripper. Let us try to keep these things in mind when we are interacting. The person behind the keys is not necessarily like the person on screen. Well except maybe for poet. He is a goof no matter where. Love you poet.

I totally agree with all three of you , I myself know Cal the character is a jerk. The person behind the character he is nice guy. It can be difficult I know to remeber that the character who other people playing are not there really personality. Like for example I had to keep remind myself even though starfire character Tatiana have to me one thing both in coommon(like they both nice) with her ooc she isnt Tati and sometimes it hard. And I also not a two head Ettin lol.

Alot of times, I find Cal much nicer than the player behind him... I mean just hand him a mirror and tell him he looks delicious. The person behind Cal, well you have got to get him drunk to hear how much he likes you. *puts on her devil ears*

I wasn't at the meeting, but my years in RP have taught me one rule to always follow.

NEVER confuse the player for the character.

I'm always open for Cal to be a dick to my Umbrans. I look forward to it. I hope you feel the same.

This on no way means I am not a dick, IRL. I am simply not a death worshiping, cannibalistic, Mengle-esque dick, like Dealthagar.
