Kelly sat at the large stone table reclining with her boots up at the table's edge. She had spent countless hours with Arakad learning. She smiled as she pulled the shadows in the room and toyed with them. She casually stood, shook off the shadows and walked through her home.

She admired the new stone Lady Dawn had put in. It was elegant and easier on the eyes. She went to her lab and noticed new tables. New...things? She strode over to the table and looked over the new things Dawn had brought home from the Abyss.
Her eyes lit up when she saw the clawed hand of a demon.

Kelly shuddered as the harsh memories of fighting fiends in her past rose up like it were yesterday. She remembered that tall demon well. His great spear slamming into her right leg pinning her soundly to the ground. The agony the weapon caused her words could not begin to measure or describe. Though pinned, she refused to die to a demon. Kelly remembered her whip and strength. She also had her blade. She held off the fiend until it grew frustrated enough to rip the spear free. Ripping through Kelly's leg again. She had lost blood, but was not about to show this thing weakness. Whip in one hand and her longsword in the other she faced the fiend and methodically tore it apart.

She left the dismembered demon to tend her wounds. How she had wish she could have been a vampire then. She sighed and rubbed her right thigh where she still bore the scar from that wicked battle. She patted the clawed hand, and with a smile, turned and left.

"One less demon to worry about." She said to herself.

She went back to the table after going through the rest of the house and brought with her ink, quill, and parchment.
