Strolling through Ilshenar with Jenna by her side, the cerulean haired 'Forrest' as she referred to herself headed away from the shrine of Sacrifice with a bow clutched in her hand. 'Oh, the Meer will be sacrificed alright...'

The meer folk turned their heads to look at the intruder. The blue hair and mosaic-patterned glowing dragonfly wings, a familiar trait of a woman with darker hair they were not too friendly with, caused some to take a second glance over their shoulder though Forrest did not notch an arrow. She walked over to a tree and plucked an apple off of it.

"Now, now. I'm just a traveller looking to feed mine horse," she reassured. A few who had been staring looked away, continuing their business. One or two of the younger meer watched her suspiciously as she plucked a couple more, taking one for herself at the moment.

Finally, they headed away from the small, worn settlement. Forrest swung a leg over Jenna's back and whispered directions in her ear. Her eyes spotted a meer captain who had wandered too far from her home.

It was a difficult fight, though Forrest came out victor with a quiver of crossbolts.

"Well, if I knew they were allied to those damned pixies, I wouldn't've," she grumbled to herself, laying on her side on a firm but fairly new mattress. She stared with her one functioning eye into the fireplace which she had rebuilt her house for, stone by stone with her own hands.. Well, mostly her own hands. Ever since she'd gotten better control of magic, she had begun taking full advantage of it. On a pillow in front of it lay a large murky green oval shapped orb with the skin of a mongbat wrapped about it for a blanket.

Sitting up in her bed and brushing the varying hues of light blue tendrils away from her left eye, the chittering fire cast light upon a most hideous burn...

Jenna was running them through the dried up forest near the Luna and Umbra seperation bridge. Forrest payed little attention to the surroundings about her, hugging close to Jenna's neck and peering ahead with her dark eyes with a hint of an emerald color to them, both functioning in perfect unison together. She distantly heard peals of laughter halt as she glided by, though when Jenna reared to a halt with a whimper her eyes shot open wide enough to loose their sharp shape.

Pulling her crossbow off of her hip and loading in a bolt with the inhuman agility and balance that she had grown quite fond of in her new body, Forrest's eyes locked on the pixie. Her eye burned as she shot the pixie down and violet oozed from the blister that ran across her temple and caught the edge of her eye.

She returned to the Spirituality cave with her healing supplies that she always carried with her, doing her best to fix up the wound. Finally, after applying various salves meant to treat burns, she finally gave up trying to heal it up by hand and murmured every positive magic she could think of. Staring back into the reflection of the small lake within the cave, a gaping violet wound and purple streaked eye stared back in her reflection.

She was cursed.

Kneeling down to the egg and running a bare hand across its surface, she couldn't avoid staring into her own reflection in the glazed stone-like egg. She only saw out of her right eye and couldn't help but wonder if that was the only eye she would see out of from now on. It felt like it had already become infected.

Oh Telia.. I have bad news..
