These books are ment to shine light on the importance of the Roleplay history behind the community and inspire more Roleplay oriented events. They are not about Lightbringers and Dark Denziens, the more good oriented and neutral guilds yes will of course chose the Lycaeum most likely - the evil bastages of course will be in the Umbra. There are more events planned but the more we bicker, complain and whine like two year olds the less likely there will be future attempts from Event Moderators and staff to work with us. So Lets try to not show the arrogance and ignorance and give somthing good for the community, a new Historical item for Ultima Online, new players and veterans to look back on.

I didn't realize anyone was bickering over anything. But Arakads right.
Perhaps add in major battles? "Stonegate" "Yew War One" "Yew War Two"
Perhaps old events that are to be remember etc..
Something to inform more people in UO of the rpers and shizzy.

I heard about complaining OOC, but didn't see any threads about it. It's not like anyone owns the books, or the history added to them. The books will be there, even if the guild(s) controlling the cities change. It's a community wide history project which I think is pretty cool. I'm trying to think of late Umbra OES stuff to add since it has absolutely no representation, I'm thinking of adding stuff about Lute as well. They were pretty iconic when they were around.

The Cappadocians held several battles in the past. But sadly they were before EMs came around. We held a little parcel in Brit on the map call B4 that stretched from Blackthorn's Castle to the docks for several months. We recently gave it back to the people as it no longer suited our needs.

But I do like the idea of plots and storylines. As long as its more a guideline so there is a chance for anything to happen. I love the spontaneous rp myself. Tends to get my char into trouble...or hunted. Wink

I believe Azunda asked you about that already? You guys need to post an emote for it, not all of us were there for those things. I have no idea what to say about that plot for example.
