Lord Commander

The position had been filled by legendary Sanctans since the founding of the Order. The names of those who had filled the position contained a number of people Vian had the greatest of respect and admiration for. This included his uncle Eldred, his father Zarlox, and even King Talon himself, prior to Sanctus becoming a Kingdom. Earning this honor was the greatest achievement in the Prince's life.

What Vian was truly proud of was not that he now had the position, but how he had gone about it. Despite his title as a Prince, Vian had never used that to gain rank or favor in the Sanctus military. He had worked his way up from a recruit and Squire, and worked hard, to get here. Through his research and investigation Vian had learned a great many things about the Lich Lord Darrien Church and some of the things the creature had done. Including, some of what had occurred between the Lich Lord and King Talon.

With rumors of a rift to the Abyss having been opened in the realm, the new Lord Commander of the military arm of Sanctus began making preparations for the most important task in his life. To find and free King Talon Skyfire.
