Seraphina had been running about the lands freely. She was enjoying her freedoms, sniffing about and listening to the goings'-on when she decided to run through Umbra. There was sooo many scents to pick up there. Her ears picked up on a voice she'd never heard.
She moved in as she had a curiosity akin to that of a feline. There was a group of orcs surrounding a man dressed in fineries, a dark clad man and the lich. The hackles raised high on her fur as she listened to the lich lord give orders to take the man away and shackle him to a pillar. She crept up close despite the growing fear. None seemed concerned with her presence which, for her, was good.
The orcs and the dark clad man rode off to the west mentioning visiting the Sanctans.
She followed close behind.
She had to know what this strange group was up to. Nothing good of course.
At Hanses' she got a firsthand look at a tall dark and....winged man...Yes those are wings. A gargoyle! This creature fascinated her. She sat by the lantern and signpost of the tavern and watched him hover effortlessly for what seemed an eternity.
She then tuned into the obvious debate at hand. The gargoyle was stirring the pot between a sanctan and the orc chief. She watched and listened and soon more humans showed. The Moonglow Town Council. She watched out of the way as more debating and bickering ensued before blood was shed.
The scent of blood drove her to excitement and Seraphina took a playful nip at the orc's ridgeback mount several times before she decided to it was time to calm down.
She felt the bloodlust building. She took down a great hart, rending it to shreds, then ran off a house outside Northern Luna to recall the events she had witnessed. She shifted to her elven form and picked up ink, quill, and parchment to document these things for another to read later.
As long as she gathered news and information, Kelly and Ian would be pleased. They would let her run free.
As long as she poked her snout into the realm's dealings, they would be pleased. However, she understood if she ever got caught, she was on her own. |
