(Edited..made a terrrible typo)
I'm not sure if ARPC has discussed it yet or not... But what will be the out look on the new race when they just randomly start comin around?
Is anyone planning on making a Gargoyle guild?
Are guilds going to be racist towards them RP wise? (Sorta like OS and Necromancy)
What are peoples opinions on the whole Gargoyle situation?

And I swear..if it's like when the elves came out and half the people in the community realize they are actually half gargoyle and just magically become one..Imma flip my lid.

I have plans on turning my half-demon into a garg; but I figured being demon and such it would make since.
Race wise I'm for this one; Gargoyles are in UO Lore more prominent than Elves were (IE the Gargoyle City in Ilshenar).

Gargoyles would be a much better look for demons and such they could be used as more than just gargoyles as well. i think an all gargoyle guild could be interesting as well.

I was planning to use the toon shape for my half dragon char. The gargoyle form is very versatile.

I plan on running around going "HOLY CRAP A GARGOYLE!" then trying to slay it.

I have a demon character I might do it with but the lack of hair ruins it. Shes got human hair but wings, so I just dont think I will do it. Best to make a new character probably for pvm to take around and do this is what I was thinking.

It's going to make things interesting for Dealth, as the "Gargish" virtues are the basis for the philoshophy much of his morality is based on.

I roleplayed a gargoyle in D^B briefly long before SA was even in the works. Too bad I stopped playing him.

I'll make a new character as a Gargoyle, for sure. Of course, this is coming from the person who downright refused to make an elf char when ML came out.

Malic has always been half garg....no but really...

From a light bringer stand point. I am reading about the gargoyles and I'm wondering how a light bringer should perceive them. Their spells are not really evil but more druid like. How are others taking the gargs? Yes they have always been evil but WHY? Necro vs Pally is an easy question. How should the good look at the new gargs?

Gargoyles have not always been evil.
Mysticism isn't an evil magic. Necromancy isn't either, but that's a whoooole nother debate. -IF- Necromancy was factually 100% no debate evil, and Chivalry was 100% no debate good, then Mysticism would be the middleground between the two. Right next to magery. Spellweaving I'd say leans more towards good.

That's what I'm hearing from some ultima lore...gargs were good originally. So I'm thinking we light bringers may want to take the Gargs on a case by case basis...

I'd say so. Some of them look evil as hell. But that doesn't mean they are.
