Tatiana couldn't believe it. So much had happened so fast. Arakad had proposed. Tatiana had nearly shouted to the rafters with her yes. She smiled thinking back to when they had been dating before. But he had left and she had thought she would never see him again. Then he had returned but was seeing Miss Cein. It had nearly broken her. And then Arakad and Miss Cein had broken up and Arakad had sought her out. Tatiana was in heaven. And tonight.... PROPOSED! She wanted to dance and sing and shout to all. She had hoped he would at some time.... but as he had always done, Arakad had surprised her. She didn't know how she could ever contain so much happiness without bursting. Tatiana giggled and bubbled with delight. This is what it meant to float on air. Proposed.....shaking her head in delight, and smiling with all the love she felt for him, Tati turned her thoughts to the future.

Quietly the warrior laid there beside his love. Gentle black talon fingers combed through the sleeping beauty's hair. "Even then; I knew we would be more. I just didn't realize it." Over half a decade it seems had passed since he had first met the one known as Tatiana, had worked along side her in serving the citizens of Haven, assisting with the festivities of the Smiths, and then in the end she had introduced the warrior to Poet. And the dark times; his fight in the City of the Dead, his burial alive. Having been cast out of time and worlds. It wasn't until his imminent return to Verity and the kindness he had been shown that he started to remember who he once was. Lightbringer, hardly - but a survivor yes.

And this woman, innocent - beautiful - accepting - loving .... took him back, loved him without requiring anything of him. Just to be one with one another... it was more than any other had given him, so he could see.

"I will always be there to keep you safe my love; never again will you suffer at anothers hands." leaning in he placed a gentle kiss upon his soon to be wifes pale lips. Falling back upon the pillow with an arm draped over Tatiana's body he held his love tight through the night. A future together begins anew.
