The leather boots padded across the floor just outside the bedroom doors. His arms folded behind his back, though constrained the blades that hung from his belts, didn't stop the jingling of metal scraping metal. A Katana hanging on his left, a scimitar on his right, a fork on his back, a dozen shurikens along his belt, a series of knives, daggers and cleavers down his sash. Not to mention the hanging pouches of various reagents and potions - he would make a fearsome sight if one caught him alone in a blind alley. His arsenal hidden only by the lose folds of the dark blue hooded cloak he wore, the lengths of the cloth flowing around him with each step as though it had a life of its own.

The Mayor of Moonglow had ordered that the woman be protected, a women he had attempted to avoid, attempted to shut out of his mind due to the wrong he had done her years ago. Now here he stood; a fool in a fails' house Vice Mayor of Verity and now Bodyguard to the Legendary Artisan, Tatiana Alexi. Slowing his pace to come across an obsidian statue he ran a plated glove hand over the masterful craftsmanship. "To many moons have passed since I have stood by your side, protected you ... loved you."

~it was your own foolishness, you realize of course. That took you from her in the first place. False insecurity and the birth of myself by the 'Order'~

"Ah my ole'friend how I've missed you. Much changes when I don't feed enough ... you get your second breath." Giving an obvious smirk across his feline features, turning on the soles of hi feet as he paced to the opposite corner of the room. He could hear the faint whimpering of Tatiana's nightmares through her bedroom door. Easing into the dark room he made his way quietly to her side to assure himself she was unharmed. pulling the sheets up over her shoulders again, he turned back towards the door - the thought of the kiss lingering in his mind.

"what the hell you doing here ... you'll bring nothing but trouble to the girl.."

~that's my line. but you're right!~ the voice echoing through his mind, as he muttered under his breath.

Closing the door just as silently as he had opened it he made his rounds in the building once more. Sending his awareness out into the shadows that surrounded him. homing in on prospective weaknesses in the structure, areas in the building prone to attack, and each entrance he could find. If shadow laid within its territory, his obtenebration sought it out. Finally withdrawing the course of power, mostly due to lack of feeding, he muttered under his breath. Leaning against the door to the room Tatiana had assigned him, directly adjent to hers. He folded his arms and waited day break through the window, looking out over the land of Mazewood.

"I'm getting to bloody old for this..."
