Kelly rode through the mountain west toward Hanses' Hostel. The sounds of people enjoying drinks food and company drew her in. Once near the festivities, she dismissed her charger and walked up to join the crowd. There were many new faces Kelly had not yet seen and some older ones she wanted to say hi to.

However her venture was stopped short as she walked up behind a Sanctan. She knew his scent from anyone. Vian Skyfire. he had not yet seen her. She knew she likely could have gone in and had no trouble. That just wasn't her to leave an old foe alone. She walked up behind him.

"Well well. Good evening." She smiled sweetly to Vian as he turned slowly to face her.

He narrowed his gaze and clenched his fists in a building rage.

"Vampires are not welcome here." He stated bluntly.

"You want me to leave? but I thought taverns were public?" She asked innocently. Meanwhile others were gathering around as the confrontation continued. Others were saying hello to Vian but he was solely focused on Kelly.

"That's not fair!" Sara Delan shouted at Vian.

"If you do not remove yourself I would gladly take the time to destroy you." He clenched his fists. Others kept trying to calm Vian down to no avail.

"She's not done anything wrong!" Sara shouted again. Trying to talk sense into the stubborn Vian

Kelly looked over after saying hello to Kalik'six and Nalimar.

"I take it you want me to leave then? " Kelly asked in a more sarcastic tone.

"You're a smart one." He stated.

"Fine. I did not come for bloodshed. I came to enjoy the festivities." With that Kelly turned and walked down the road.

Sara ran after Kelly flustered. "Wait WAIT!!!" she shouted.

Kelly stopped and turned to see a new face. A young lady with beautiful teal color hair.

"You going to let him win?"

"I did not come for bloodshed. I came to have a few drinks, some chat, and fun. I am not in the mood to fight. After
After a few moments went by of her trying to convince Kelly not to leave, Kal and Nalimar walked past in a rather bitter mood.

"Looks like he upset my friends." Kelly sighed.

Sara nodded. "Looks like he'll be kicking everyone out of the tavern." She said in frustration

Ceinwyn walked down to see what was going on. Kelly looked over to her then back to Sara before stating firmly;
"Well two can play that game. Sanctus will get the same welcome in Cappadocian land and Tavern."

She tried to get Kelly to go around to the back entry to the tavern but Kelly wanted no trouble. She knew if Vian saw her he'd stop and nothing to drop her.

It was then that she got the break she needed. A band of orcs rode up toward the tavern.

"There goes the neighborhood." Kelly said more amused now. "This I have to see."

Sara nodded and the two walked up slowly, standing by an armored swamp dragon just out of eyesight of Vian and other Sanctans.

"My name's Sara."

Kelly smiled. "I am Kelly. Kelly Darkhaven."

"Sara Delan." She smiled.

"A lovely name." Kelly said lightly while watching the confrontation.

The owner of the swamp dragon came and rode it off to the other group, which happened to be Monnglow Town Council.
"oh there went our cover." sara said.

Kelly went up casually and leaned against the wall of the tavern. Sara had dismissed herself from Kelly to go talk to one of the orcs called Vidish. She worked her way to one of the tables vacant near the tavern door and had a seat. the orcs and Sanctus stood staring. Many were watching the event.

Sara took the seat by Kelly. After several more moments of chatter between the forces, Moonglow took place next to Sanctus and one of them stated. "Moonglow stands by Sanctus as long as the orcs are here."

Neither Kelly, nor Sara liked the sound of that.

"Why don't we go to the drow tavern?" asked Sara.

"I'm game." Kelly stood and the two walked down the road a bit before summoning mounts.
They rode to the tangled web to find it empty at first. Oddly enough, Kelly enjoyed Sara's company. She brought out a youthfulness that Kelly had forgotten of.

Kelly told stories to Sara and after a while, Ian showed up as did Matron Kalik'six and Nalimar. They all laughed, drank and enjoyed answering many of Sara's curious questions pertaining to vampires.

Through the hours of the night, Sara and Kelly had become friends. They answered each others' questions, showed off their homes to one another, and enjoyed their company as though they were best of friends.

Kelly returned home and smiled. What started out as a rough run-in with Sanctus turned out to be a pleasant night and a new friend made.
