The meeting was dragging and Alvin grew tired of the constent diplomatic negotiations. Promises to be made, alliances to be set, yes he knew all of this was essential for running a government, however his concern, was with the innocent civilians in the town. The orcs had been raiding for days, and as an uneasy quite settled over Moonglow, alvin set to work. Leaving Madam Mayor to attend to her duties, he recruited the help of Jarem and Sara.
Merchents with wives and childern in tow, the elderly, poor or sick, these were the first to be moved from the combate zone. Alvin finished setting up the camp just as Jarem arrived with the begining of a long line.
Sara Arrives shortly after with a few more citizens and a Llama full of food and water rations. Jarem offers prayers for the frightened and reminds them that Sacrifice is a virtue, and it will test all in time.
As the hour grew late, the Mayor and her guard arrived with the final wave of the evening. She assigned guards to post around the camp incase of attack. The council stayed with their brothers and sisters late into the night, making sure all needs were attended to. For now, most of the citizens of Moonglow proper were safe.
