A rolled yet flattened parchment is left wedged under the door to Willow's home. It bears no distinctive outer markings save for a red wax seal with Kinn's symbol.

Enforcer,

As you are tasked with the defense of Stonegate I figure you are the one best suited for this message.

If the wolf packs of Stonegate can be told to search for particular scents, they might be instructed to be especially alert for the stench of Orcs tonight.

I was making my rounds in the Umbran shadows this evening when I came across heavy orc tracks on the western road leading away from the city. I followed the road all the way to Sanctan lands where I saw evidence that an orc war party had been in the area. The Sanctans appeared to have sufficient forces to repel the orc threat--so I did not intervene--but if the orcs are so bold as to move against Sanctus then I would assume Stonegate might be a likely target as well.

Regardless of where they decide to raid next, it is worth noting that orc forces are on the move. I am fairly certain these are the same orcs that have aligned themselves with the Lich.

Set your patrols well, Willow. I will spend as much time as I can keeping watch from Stonegate's shadows myself.

Kinn,
I thank you for your insight on the Orcs. Typically they do not venture to these parts, but one can never be too sure. I have the perfect thing to give the wolves for Orc scent, a dress I wore when the meadhall last hosted guests. I shall not be wearing it any longer. If an Orc comes anywhere near our perimeter we will know it.
