I and about seven other people on his list got an ICQ tonight, asking if they could access our account. I believe the integrity of their account on ICQ has been lost to them. If you have them on your ICQ list, block them, and delete their account from your contact list.

Lots of this going on lately. Be carefull.

Happened to me and Garrett to...not hacked but the same request from this guy. we both deleted him from our lists.

No one accept ICQ friend requests or files or anything from someone. ETCETCETCETC
He's out to get more ICQs.

His behavior is strangely similar, so I'm going to keep looking into this.

He then immediately left the conversation

I haven't spoken to this person, in a good five or six months, and when last we spoke we were not on friendly terms, so there is nothing that would have ever motivated me to give him my account information. Even if he was the man behind the ICQ name.

EDIT: if you know of anyone who has his ICQ, who does not regularly check these boards, please pass the warning along. He burned the bridge here, mostly, but I know he had some friends before he faded away a few months ago. So please, pass on the warning to anyone who may know him well and may or may not fall for this sort of thing.

this is similar to the convo with my sister and that hacker.

Doubt its related but still.

I also recieved an icq from victor asking to get on my account and said no.

My apologies victor but for my own safetly i deleted the icq and blocked it. Nothing against you personally I knew it wasnt you as you hardly know me and would not ask for my account info.
