The Forsaken North was a cold once rather barren place, the lighting was poor there due to the shadows cast on its valleys by the great mountains. The people worked and lived there in some of the harshest climates of Malas. Yet a great fortress and town had risen breaking free of the rock resisting the snow.
The people of Stonegate were hard workers, made of many races and skills. Yet they were a family like any pack, and tightly together they were bound. For they were the Chosen.
In the stillness of this night as the sun hid its shameful head, the mountains broke out in song.
The wolves lifted thier voices, their cries carrying their tale spreading it to the valleys below. Then as if on cue the next set of wolves picked it up and carried it on so that it touched the ears of many. They sung of Traitors, of Ancients, of the Wolf King and his clan. They sang in anger, in passion. Yet one song prevailed, traveling wildly.
They spoke of the new one... A new Lycan this night arose and so the clan thrived and a spark had been ignited upon the wolves hearts. Those that new the way of the wolf, and knew its song could hear it in their cries.
With the mornings rise the song silenced its message spread. They waited now in silence, in calm, for the time was coming. Soon the great Stone Gate would open and pour forth with great fury.... _________________ May destiny guide you... |

Seraphina had been working hard to clean up the house for Savana. As night fell, the hair stood up on the back of her neck. She ran to the rooftop. A song drifted upon the night air. It was a song she had not heard in ages. A soft whimper escaped her as she listened to their song throughout the night.
Finally unable to control her excitement, she shifted. As the sun began to crest with the morning light, she cut loose with a long lone howl. I hear your song. She heard her howl echo off into the Northern Crags. She gave a pup's playful bark to follow and then curled up by Savana's fireplace. Hello! |

Merci pauses, her head turning, catching the message as it hits the wolves of the mountains around her. She smiles slightly a bit surprised.
Seems we are not as alone as we thought.. _________________ May destiny guide you... |
