Citizens of Britannia!
"There is a New Order in the land!"
The herald calls out while nailing the parchments on the tavern's Bulletin Boards.
The Parchment Reads:
The Sovereign Order, in an age of democratic materialism and secular humanism, seeks, by reconstituting an ancient lawful order, to adopt an organization of prov-en effectiveness in capturing the allegiance and spirit of dedicated leaders, and to show that spiritual and individualistic idealism is most certainly relevant and not inconsistent with a sensibility for tradition, nor inconsistent with patriotism nor civic duty -- thus the Order's purposes include assisting and facilitating the growth of the virtues and basic human rights of all races of men and women, by endeavor with Grace through the respect of established religious and political sovereignty's. The members of this Order believe they have an obligation to participate in the coalescing and preservation of a constructive force.
The parchment is signed in an elegant caligraphy with blue green ink: The Lord and Lady of The Sovereign Order
***
(OOC Summary of Guild)
(S^O practices lawful neutrality, meaning popular opinion does not sway our judgments on race, practices or established guilds/religious sects or war status. The Order was created to help uphold moral codes of conduct (not human law) such as basic human rights (that means for everyone) and the unjust oppression of anyone regardless of societies views of alignment. It's members believe in the core concept of The Order is built upon, that good and evil are just words and that it is the morality and action of individuals that define character.)

Alaundril was finishing his rounds through Trammel, checking in with an informant or two and delivering a few messages for the Boss. As he made his way past the bank. Out of habit, he checked the boards at the bank and a grin crossed his face. He noted the decree in his little black notebook and started making his way back to the Safehouse North of Britain.
The words from the message echoed in his brain, causing that familiar feeling of chaos within him.
Democratic materialism......secular humanism.
They have the nerve to say that this is for all races....the very first sentence is racist. Basic human rights. Sounds like another humanist organization that needs burning to the ground. The Drow scowled as he made his way back to the new division of the Spider's Kiss Trading Company. The stream of work never seemed to end.
A message will be delivered this evening. We will find this Sovereign Order will understand who the Syndicate takes its directives from. We don't need a group of self righteous surface living pale skins telling us what our rights are... |

As she slowly walks past the bank she notices a familiar hand writting. As she walks closer she realizes it is Branwens. Getting closer she reads the parchment on the wall. Thinking to herself" I am sure glad that it has been made public that we are here and that we will not discriminate against a person due to age or race. That each person will be as a equal and will be treated as so." With a sigh of releif she continues to read the message. She has wondered for sometime where she was to fit in but do to the people and the spirt of the members she knows she has made the right choice. After finishing the letter. She slowely turns around head held high and large smile on her face and a glimmer in her eye. She says under her breath . "Thank you , I Think I am finally home" _________________ What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it.

Kelly walks through the streets of Minoc and finds the parchment nailed on the public bulletin board.
Ahhh This will be interesting to see how it unfolds. Chivalry and virtues. My favorites. She chuckled and tore the notice down and rolled it up, taking it with her.
After making her rounds, she headed home and pulled out ink, quill, and parchment.

Dearest Lord and Lady of the Sovereign Order,
Your public notice is intriguing. Chivalry is one thing this land lacks in overwhelming amounts. Many claim to profess and preach the virtues but seldom follow them. Many others claim to follow them devoutly. I do hope you both know it will indeed be a long and troublesome road. I know much of the virtues, moreso from a personal standpoint. I would be interested in meeting with you both in the near future at your convenience.
Best of luck,
Lady Darkhaven
She rolls the parchment up and seals it with an emerald green and black wax bearing a strange symbol. She closes her eyes a moment and utters a few words. A well groomed young man appears moments later. "Seek out the Lord and Lady of the Sovereign Order and deliver this. " The young man takes the sealed parchment and leaves. |

The man is greeted by a wisp a hovering near the castle door. The man begins to speak "I seek the Lord and Laddd...." the wisp swooped down as the man was speaking, collecting the parchment from his hands leaving the mans mouth hanging open.
The door opened as the wisp quickly headed for the castle entrance. "Silverline!" a voice called from the doorway. The wisp slowed and stop hovering next to Deacon as he walked out of the door way and releasing the message to his hand.
"I apologize." "Silverline is a wonderful friend but a little leary of strangers". *Takes a look to the wisp and nods* *The wisp quickly flew into the castle no doubt to Branwens side*
So, how can I help you. *Looks to the parchment* "mhm....*nods*.....
"I see". " We never turn down a guest". "Tell your Lady, that we would love to meet with her." "Let her know I will send Silverline to help schedule a meeting time that we both agree on."
"Yes sir, thank you sir".
Deacon turns back through the door. "Things are to picking up" he says with a cracked smile. Branwen should know of this. *Laughs* *Remembering Silverline was surely near her* "Like that wisp could keep a secret from her." "I'm sure she knows everything already". |

A note in return finds the designated 'Lord and Lady of the Order'.
Dear Sir and Madame,
First, please note I have had to remove all of your notices from all locations it was posted within the territory designated as the responsibility of Umbra. We are not opposed to you sharing your news but we do require that all public, and especially mass, notices be registered with the City Clerk's office prior to their posting. If you'd like to refile, you may do so during normal business hours.
Secondly and for your own reference, the citizens and residents of Umbra choose to adhere to an established, representative form of government and will do well enough to understand if their own needs are being met. We therefore thank you for your extension of service to "participate in the coalescing and preservation of a constructive force" but the last thing our people need is a foreign entity attempting to graft another set of ideals onto a populace they do not understand.
Finally, I implore you to do but one thing. Please, try to alienate your user base less unless you'd rather preclude serfs and citizens with less of an education than nobles such as yourselves. Your flowery words, while admirable, will confuse and deflect potential listeners.
As an aside, I'd be grateful if you could have a copy made of any historical texts regarding your Order. I have never heard of it nor have any of my historians and we are always eager to collect texts. Please attach a note if it should be filed in the fiction or non-fiction section. Best of luck in reconstructing your lost, ancient and glorious Order devoted to imposing on governments.

Branwen receives the message and reads.. *chuckles to herself quietly* "This is rather what we expected from those in Umbra" She smiles and hands Deacon the note with some amusement. What a glorious way to start to the day! Silverline bounced up and down gleefully. |

Kaelem sat upon the roof of The Trinsic Branch of the Bank of Britannia, dangling his legs over the edge, watching with great interest as a throng of workers and soldiers read the posting, which had caused a considerable buzz in the City of Honor.
He adjusted his teal Jin-Baori and stood up. "Lady Branwen, Lord Daecon," he said, "Thou had sparked what will hopefully be a great, new age."
He opened a leather-bound book, turned to a specific page, and focused for a moment. "Kal Ort Por," he recited from the memory bank somewhere deep in his mind, and his physical form scattered, the resulting particles of himself whisking up to the sky. |
