Kelly rode through the streets of Minoc as the night approached. "Mistress! Mistress! Please! It's awful!" Came the distressed cry from several citizens. As she rounded the corner of a building, her mount balked and reared, Refusing to move forward. The stench caused even Kelly to cover her nose in disgust. "It's okay Raven. Stay here." She patted the mare and dismounted.
Kelly followed the panic-stricken townsfolk to the gruesome site. At the site of the unfinished statues was blood. A lot of it. Kelly looked around and saw no carcasses.

"Who...would do such a horrible thing?" Asked a shopkeep.

"Who's blood is it?" An older member of the city asked looking to Kelly.

She walked the perimeter of the area, taking in the site and the scent of the blood. "The blood is from cattle. A sick and cold joke perhaps." She looked to all the mortified people.

"It was not our doing. You should know this by now. Go back to your shops, your homes, your tavern and forget this ever happened." Kelly looked to the townsfolk. They listened to the subtle command and vanished one by one back to their dwellings.

She waited for them all to go away before she removed her gloves. She held out both her bare hands, palms up and focused on the blood. She watched as the blood slowly rose and drifted toward her hands. She lifted her index fingers to a droplet. As it touched her finger, it absorbed. She walked the entire perimeter and touched the dried blood, leaving behind clean stone. After several hours into the night, Kelly had the site pristine. she replaced her gloves and went to Raven who stood where she left her.

"I don't know what the cause of that was or who did it. But it does not set well with me. We are in enough trouble just being vampires." She patted Raven and rode out of the city to patrol Vesper.

As she rode into Vesper she overheard the chatter and latest rumors. The biggest story is how the Lich Lord Darrien Church had come back and taken over leadership of Umbra.
She halted her mount to listen in as a heated argument between several men took place. One argued that the drow ran it, another argued that the remaining Umbrans under one fellow named Shalcross ran it. The other three argued that the Lich Lord ruled over the lot of them.
Kelly had to chuckle before nudging her little mare on. Thankfully its in Umbra and not here. Seems my little drow comrades have their hands full.

She rode out on the rode to the moongate and then went to Umbra.
