Kal'iksix threw everything she could get her hands on at the wall after the brief meetings she had with both The Boss and Shalcross. She growled in anger at the Patron's sudden journey but knew his trip was a short one. She cursed loudly in drow at her failed attempt to manipulate Alaundril by sitting on his desk. As Kal'iksix kicked over her stool in front of her vanity, she was struck frozen by a loud voice that boomed in her head.

"Daughter, stop your temper tantrum, we must talk!"

"As you wish, Mother," Kal'iksix returned as she bowed her head.

Kal'iksix gathered her piwafwi around her and made her way to the temple. She stopped and thought a moment. The temple, albeit a glorious monument to the Dark Mother herself, was quite open and spacious. Granted should any intruder attempt to eavesdrop on the conversation, the Goddess' Voice alone would cause the intruder's head to bleed and explode. Only Her chosen Priestesses could tolerate her immense voice. After a moment of thinking, Kal'iksix decided she would be better off going to the Tier Breche and speak to the Goddess from the Arach-Tinilith.

Kal'iksix threw the door open with such force, that the young priestess jumped at the sound. Kal'iksix glared at them with such anger to show them her true power. The priestesses cowered and averted their eyes before the Matron Mother. Smirking at their reaction, she ordered them out or else she would slaughter them where they stood. The girls nodded and quickly exited the room, leaving all their belongings where they laid. Kal'iksix strolled to the open books and scanned the drow words and prayers and smiled. Oh how she recalled sitting in similar classes back in Menzoberranzan, the only difference was she was the Lolth's Daughter and already knew what she was being taught.

Kal'iksix made her way to the alter that was there to assist the priestesses in drow ceremonies. She closed her eyes and meditated for a moment to make the connection with the Goddess. The room began to shake as the connection was established. Kal'iksix dropped to her knees and prayed.

" My Daughter, you are in turmoil. I have come to guide you."

"Yes Mother"

"The Matriarch is not herself and the city is in dry hands. Buildings will fall and Oblivion will be now."

Kal'iksix continued to listen to her Mother. The cryptic talk unraveled in her mind it's true meaning. Kal'iksix smiled at some of the Queen's suggestions. Kal'iksix nodded in agreement.

"Lastly My Daughter, remember this....the enemy of your enemy can be your friend. I will contact you again for some more guidance my Daughter."

Kal'iksix looked up at the image of her Mother's wicked grin with great puzzlement. The connection broke and Kal'iksix sat to ponder. The young priestess filed in with terror in their eyes. The instructors rushed to the Matron's side as the girls bombarded the Matron with questions as she remained on one knee.

"Continue with your lessons, I wish to watch. I want the older girls to work on their connection with the Goddess with me."
