The poster did not last long in Umbra, nor did the messenger tacking it up. |

Davaran gingerly pulls down the poster, rolls it, and stashes it in the folds of his cloak, smiling. |

Xana paused in her travels, her eye caught by the poster. She ambled toward it cautiously, and felt the color fall from her face when she read the notice.
Who would do such a thing, we harm nobody! she thought.
Anger welled within her and she clenched her fists; she stood staring at the damnable words, reading them over and over. _________________ An artist is a creature driven by demons ~Faulkner

Kinn knew the type of poster that the messenger was tacking up long before he was close enough to the tavern door to actually read it.
It was a Wanted poster and that meant a potential job.
Kinn couldn't help but chuckle quietly as he read the decree.
So, they want an Umbran do they? And no mention of a reward for the trouble? Pity....
Kinn left the tavern without giving the poster a second look. |

A slight sigh passed Orelen's lips as he saw the poster on the wall of his office...
I suppose it is for everyone to know our business... No matter, plenty of work to do, and no time to frett...
He continued into his office and set down writting an official decree, the likes of which mostly decided. |

The Council sat around passing the posted wanted poster of Morio. Arguement echoed the halls. Jeren stood trying to calm the tables.
"Gentlemen! One at a time!" Jeren extended his hand to the nearest Governor.
"The Governmor Regent would have us believe that because a man is widely known as Kitsune; he be the one named, Morio, should be the suspect? Many kitsune roam the woods! Why place a wanted sign about when she only has second and third hand evidence? This in itself is a crime...A CRIME!"
Jeren once again had to calm the tables as the fists pounded across the hall without hestitation once he had finished.
Another Governor spoke without turn from the Chief Magistrate.
"I second the statement. It is clear that the Governor Regent would rather press abroad a sense of panic and disorderly conduct in her people. We should withdraw our status as loyalist. We can't just go around claiming guilt on others...we have become the ignorant; we have destined ourselves to be branded as executioners and the justice alongside the dimwitted and unvalorous!"
Jeren stood as his chiar slammed backwards.
"ENOUGH! This Council is utterly mistaken if it believes we should send word to the Governor Regent that we reject our status as loyalist! It has't been three days since we all agreed on this position to take publically. How would that look for a firmly pronounced and declared Republic to renounce such a status with the Office of the Protectorate? Tell me gentlemen? ANSWER ME; since ye all seem to have all the answers! We stroll the edge of insanity by even secretly making our own pledge behind the Governor Regent's back. Our trust is with the Citizens of Jhelom and those of Sosaria's organizations as a Republic is paramount; first and foremost above any other emotion this Council may have on any topic! The loyalist have united on a banner that have an agenda that within that trust we can hopefully influence. Until it is clear the direction the loyalist and allies of the Governor Regent wish to proceed we will do nothing except smile and inject our best foot forward. We have much to do in the order of alliances with other organizations. We can't begin to flap around into the sea wind with a notion of just a damn wanted poster. I make a motion that if Morio is caught under the Republic's eye of influence we seek only enough information to keep us abreast of the situation that truly we know little about, and explain through messenger to Umbra our deepest apologies and return him without harm. It is important that no matter if Morio is questioned or not by this Republic we make it clear that we remain loyalist as of now to lend word of any ill-decisions towards the Umbran's."
"AYE, I second that motion Chief Magistrate." The Governor from the Southern isle of Jhelom states.
Jeren nods...the Council follows suit with acceptance of Chief Magistrate's motion.
"This session for this day is closed. I will begin writing the letter to begin the words to clearly explain this to those who hold key Office in Umbra." Jeren states as the Council stands and exists the hall. |

After giving her sister a polite ear and managing to maintain her calm demeanor throughout the speech given to her by the do-good bard, Merrique thanked her sister for her concerns and dismissed her. Once she saw the portal close, Merrique took a turn allowing her anger to run rampant. Suspecting the poster would not be seen in the city of Umbra, Merrique used a public moongate and walked around until she found a copy of it pinned in a common area.
With hands that shook with rage, Merrique untacked the poster and rolled it into a tight tube.
Then, she returned to Umbra to find the kitsune. _________________
