Young man, come here. A woman with green hair stood before him. The boy who made money off delivering things for people was not more than 9 or 10.
You deliver messages? He nodded swallowing once. Aye ma'am. How well do you know Malas? I know it like the back of me hand miss. Good.
Pardon me miss but your not from around here. She paid him no heed. How would you like to learn to sword fight? That question caught him off guard. It would be handy I spose...
Lovely, take this message to the city of Stonegate in the Northern Mountains of Malas. DO NOT, give it to anyone but Myrddin ab'Arawn.
Whats he look like?
She stared for a long moment her eyes softening a bit then returning to peer thru him eerily. You will know him, hes the King. If you do as I ask his people will teach you to fight, and here is some gold for the delivery.
She jotted down a few last words about the boy to Myrddin then sealed the scroll handing it over to the young man. As her hand slid from the scroll she wondered if she shouldnt just do this herself. But no, she was far to busy.
As the boy left he whistled a merry tune which she likewise whistled as she headed out to find some guards to see to the next task she needed done. The caravan would take much longer than the boy to arrive in Stonegate.... _________________ Something is Wrong, I can still feel Existence... |
