Gwenneth roles up the sleeves of her long red cloak, dips her hands in the cool cave water *she grins at her long time friend Marduk.. " This will be an excellent place to set up shop". She stands on her feet and continues to explore this old abandon cavern long since forgotten by man. The tunnels led to one room after the next, anticipation and excitement kept building in her. The men will be so pleased! She tells Marduk. They stumble onto many locked chests and crates. What could ever be in them?.. She wondered. *she rubs her chin and grins* I am fortunate to have men like you with skills that can break the locks, perhaps some old forgotten treasure is in them.. maybe all of them! Her attention turned when an old scab of a man walked in.. You there! She shouted, why are you here and how did you know of this place? *she darts behind him and quickly puts a dagger to his throat* Arrr' ya blasted woman get yurr hands off me! The old vagabond tried to slip away from her grip unsuccessfully. I will ask you only once more old man.. how did you get in here? *the blade pinching his skin* A single drop of blood dropped to the cave floor. The old man groaned and finally lamented and replied. The names' Hallaster.. I've been seeking ore here since my grandfather was alive.. the place be an old pirates den, She smiled at him and tossed him back onto an old dusty crate. You seem to be a bit of an old rogue yourself ! she told him as she notices his tattooed arms. He grins at her and nods with some understanding. Ye' can use this place if ye want.. as long as I get a kings cut in this here booty.. She nods slightly and replied. I did not ask you fool.. She picked up her spear and headed back out the cave entrance. Marduk started to set up the camp.

Hal slipped behind a rock and followed the cloaked woman out of the cave into the city of Cove, he kept a fair distance as he wanted to learn why she was in (his) cave.. peeking through the bank window he observed her talking with some other shady looking characters.. one, two, three, he counted.. he watched them pass around a bag filled with gold coins.. more then he had seen in many years.. The greedy old man decided at once, he must find a way to get into there good graces, after all he recognized immediately the sacred thieves greeting. A grin formed on his face and he rubbed his hands together. Where there are thieves and bandits, there is gold.. gold for me!! he slipped quickly out of sight as the small group exited the bank. Aar' ti'z going to me a good day for cove.. a better day for me. *his beady eyes shifted as he scurried behind a shrub* |

John Noticed the ugly little man hiding behind the shrubs.. He grabbed him by the ears grinned at him, dropped a gold coin in front of him onto the pavers then threw him aside.
Blasted Beggars! He then tied his red cloak around his neck and ran to catch up with the others. _________________ Zander

Faye prunes her black wings atop the bank a final time before her dark lavender eyes catch the sight of the old man sneer at the single coin tossed in front of him. She then turns her attention to the robed man as he started toward the rest of her rogue family. Playfully she hisses while he runs past her as if to say ‘wait for me’ and swiftly hops off the roof and glides to the ground. A small explosion of light and large cloud of smoke and feathers separate from the crow’s body. Out of the debris steps a soft skinned woman. Faye coughs a bit and spits out a feather or two. Embarrassed, she giggles as she catches up to her ‘brother’ and the rest of her kin. |
