Sheriff Orelen,

I found your points to be spot on at the townhall meeting. I apologize for not getting this to you sooner, but standing up and establishing a Republic in Jhelom has been my primary focus. I will admit that Regent Starfire and yourself both seemed well-versed. I do stand behind your cause and reasoning when it comes to leadership. I write to let you know that I appointed Dayn Elderan, the son of Lord Kain Elderan, as my Sheriff of Jhelom. He is a fine example of quality leadership and know that if he may from time to time speak on my behalf. I am also sending with my messenger a sealed letter to the newly elected Regent. Though we have not met in counsel in person, I want you to know that if Britain ever requires supplies or assistance this Republic stands beside you in aid and just cause. In the coming days, I will be making my rounds to speak with those loyal to Britain and the Regent. I hope this letter finds you at peace.

Respectfully,

Sir Jeren Yendorin
Chief Magistrate
Republic of Jhelom - RoJ -

*Orelen read the letter slowly and set down to pen a response, sealing it with wax, stamped with the seal of the City of Britain. He gave the response to the messenger with a few coins and sent him off.*

Sir Magistrate Yendorin,

Your words please me, and I will gladly give time for a meeting between yourself and mine. Whether the meeting be in Britain or on the Isle of Jhelom is your decision. I will be available all this week after midnight, or over the course of the weekend with slightly more flexible hours. Please notify me if any of these times are acceptable for you, and we shall converge to exchange words.

Sincerely,

Detective Orelen Reaucher,
Sheriff of the City of Britain,
General of the Protectorate Armed Forces
