absence.. And yes, I am one of you.. I think we should have one thread where we (the prodigal children of UO) post saying Hi I am back.. and it should be sticked.. so that we can all look in on place to see who has returned Smile Btw... IM here...

What if I want to welcome back specific people, some but not others?

If there is one thread this seems rude, if there are numerous ignoring the threads of those you despise is easy and less noticeable.

The Hoots and Hollas section of the board was designed exactly for the goal of this thread. All "OMG I'M BACK"s should go there. It also obviously serves other means, but that is one of its functions

I would disagree with there being a sticky for these as well simply because so many people come and go overtime..The thread would be long and its information would be extremely inaccurate in many cases.
