Hey all. I’ve been playing UO since Trammel came out and have had an amazing run with the roleplayers of Atlantic but this post is about the man behind Isk so here it goes.



The Education of the Ziggi…
Young Ziggi was born in communist Poland, he escaped with his family when he was five and spent the next three years living in West Germany before immigrating to Canada. He went through the catholic education system in the separate school board, went on to university to major in my first love, Classical studies. He came into a realization that a job in classics is more myth than fact so he travelled to North Bay Ontario to become a teacher. He currently finds himself teaching grade one French, senior kindergarten and grade seven in a catholic school with no walls until summer. Life however is not all about work and struggle as every Ziggi knows…

The De-Education of the Ziggi…
I have a lot of interests such as drawing and writing. I have been into sketching and coloring since Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were on TV in the early 90s. TNMT were also the subjects of my first few books or fan fiction when I was all of ten years old. My first sketches and stories were of Shredder. I always cheered for the badguys to win, the badassness of a villain that hides behind a mask stuck with me. Eventually my interests lead me to a brief stint with anime but I quickly grew to hate the genre due to the coming of Pokemon, I’m sorry but when anime became mainstream I threw in the towel. Ninja Scroll, KITE, and Akira are the only anime movies I like.

Sketching and writing became boring when I got my hands on a Nintendo. A progression of consoles followed leading me to a Genesis, Super Nintendo, Play Station 2 and finally my beloved Xbox 360. I get pretty competitive on X-Box live, Call of Duty 4 (silenced or scoped G3) and Street Fighter 4 (Sakura or Blanka) in particular get me cheering, cursing and F-bombing. It is a great escape after a stressful day at work.

Aside from gaming and drawing I have numerous interests. Since my trip to Cuba in 2007 I’ve been collecting cigars from Central America. Right now I have about 55 cigars ranging in quality from Partagas to Davidoff. I hate the taste cigars leave in my mouth but when I can accomplish something I am proud of I like to light up one to celebrate.

I am a big fan of the artist Jen Kauffmann, like to drink black tea, have an assortment of historical hats, own every season of Battlestar Galactica, go to auctions, love to watch Survivor and follow internet trends with the best of them.
