Moonglow wishes to extend to you her utmost congratulations and compliments for your recent successes. Please accept our most humble wishes of goodwill to you and your organization.

As you might have noticed in recent history, Moonglow has been somewhat isolationist in her foreign policy, preferring the comforts of our island to the exotic and unfamiliar. Recent leadership changes have also changed our stances on policies both domestic and foreign, and in the spirit of friendship we would like to extend to you warm tidings and seek to open diplomatic relations with your people. There is, though, an unfortunate instance of heriditary claim that recently crossed my desk as Mayor and, in all honesty, is a large part of why we have reached out to you.

It has come to our attention that the isle of Nujel'm is under claim by your organization. As you may or may not be aware, there are two surviving members of the De'Fiona Dynasty currently at large and operating in the Moonglow Town Council. One is Malicite De'Fiona, who personally inherited the Monarchy of Nujel'm some time ago. His recent bouts with amnesia have made it difficult for him to recall aspects of his own history with regards to his role, but the Lyceaum records are quite clear on the matter. The other claimant to the Throne of Nujel'm is actually myself. Having seized political and military power over the island from the previous inhabitants, and dissolving the entirety of the Westmark Dynasty through execution and/or exile, Nujel'm was briefly in my keep until it was passed to Lord Danny De'Fiona, which in essence began the long line of De'Fiona rulers. I wed Lord Danny De'Fiona to secure the future peace and ensure that Moonglow and Nujel'm would always be one. However, as the government was set up with cognatic primogeniture governing its salic laws of succession, the descendency from Lord Danny De'Fiona proceeded patrilineally, excluding myself as widower except in the event of no suitable male or female heir. The loss to time and incident is regrettable, but that is something we can hopefully fix.

As your organization is the current occupant of Nujel'm, I extend the offer for you to operate in vassalage to Moonglow as a city-state under her care and aegis. Please consider our offer and the benefits it entails, and respond in kind at your earliest convenience.
