Cal roamed the streets of Moonglow with much on his mind. A lot has happened in this past week. Seven days ago, he was Mayor, walking the streets with his head held high and a stack of papers back in his office all awaiting his signature. Now, he wanders the cobblestone looking downward. The only thing keeping him latched on to this city was Brittany, but even she was having second thoughts about staying in Moonglow.

He thought back to his talks with Sarian, and how Sarian was once a mercenary. A life of adventure and gold, with no real politics to worry about. Do as you wish. Offend who you want. In the end, all they want is your sword, or your spells. Cal knew himself as a business man, not so much a politician, despite the similarities between the two.

"I just have to get away," he thought to himself, "I don't belong here anymore. Not with those two backstabbers." He sighed softly and looked ahead of him at the moongate south of Moonglow's city gates. "All good things come to an end."
