Firstly i would like to apologize for my lack of formality but as we have never met I am unsure as to your...gender. To address you wrongly would cause me great shame.

The Lotus council and our Empress have met with your ambassador. It pleases me to say she was very tactful in her approach and her words seemed to "strike a tone", as your people would say, with our Empress.. After some debate among ourselves the Empress was very pleased with what she had to say and requests a meeting with the lord, or lady, of your clan personally. I have been tasked with arranging said meeting...should you come to us or us to you makes no difference to me. I only ask for this to be clear so i can plan accordingly....our Lady Miko never travels alone.

As a man of war, formality does not mean nearly as much to me as respect does, so in this I take no offence.

As Wolfking of stonegate, I will of course accept the offer to speak with your empress. As you and a few others may be accompanying her to this meeting, I will see that my council is present so that the officers of our respective nations might all get to know one another.

It is not my intention to keep you waiting, but as we are finalizing the construction of an outpost, I request a few days time.

I will overlook the status of this project and write to you so that you may plan accordingly.
